- Nearly indestructible SKB cases with a heavy duty watertight O-ring lid seal - will not crack or shatter like hard plastic, will not dent & leak like aluminum luggage.

- Cases are pre-drilled for optimum performance & safety with pre-installed waterproof lid locks, lid lanyards, and gear retention straps (if you prefer undrilled cases just ask).

- Caribou quick attach/release system holds the case tightly on the side rack. Locking latch is fully adjustable to account for wear and to keep the system tight and secure forever

Just received and installed my 40L Pannier
Customer service - I called ahead to ask a few questions prior to ordering and whomever I spoke to was patient and helpful. Ordering online went very well and I received several e-mails confirming my order, shipping and tracking information.
Installation - the Hepco Becker rack went on quite easily. It appears rugged and I especially like that it is easily removed and the remaining brackets are barely noticeable. Assembly of the panniers themselves was also fairly easily accomplished, although I did suffer two minor difficulties. The first revolved around the locking point for the compression latch. The instructions were straight forward, but it took me a bit to actually figure out how the bag went onto the rack and locked. Once I figured out how the latch slid into the locking mechanism it all became clear. The other problem was the compression latch itself. Once I had everything installed, I could not get the knob to rotate the full 180 degrees to the locked position. Even after adjusting it as loose as I could no dice. Finally I loosened up the bolts holding all of the pannier mounting brackets in place and they compressed allowing the compression latch to rotate fully. I was then able to tighten all the other bolts up and everything works as advertised.
Overall I am very pleased with the set. They look good on the bike and will hold a ton of stuff. I ordered the case liners and am glad I did. They'll keep stuff in the pannier if you open them while on the bike, but they unsnap to allow fully opening of the lid when you have them off the machine. I'll add more to the review once I have the opportunity to put them to use on and off road. Happy riding.
