The Caribou Hard Bolt Kit™ allows you to replace the 1/4-Turn Quick Release fasteners on Hepco Becker "Lock-It" and SW Motech "Quick-Lock" Side Luggage Racks with regular steel bolts for added strength and rigidity. The 1/4-Turn Quick Release fasteners work great for normal use (the HB version are especially strong), but since they are a spring-loaded fastener that allow a slight amount of movement between parts we highly recommend this kit for heavy touring and off-road riding. This kit also provides added security over the 1/4-Turn fasteners making it more difficult for someone to remove the rack and case from your bike. This is the 6 Pc kit for racks that have 6 quarter-turn fasteners. We also offer an 8 and 4 pc kits. Made In USA. Does not fit SW Motech PRO side racks.
